Our Commitment
We want this store to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings. We treat an accessibility defect as a bug, not a feature request.
The Standard We Build To
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the target we test against; it is not a claim that every page currently passes every criterion.
What We Have Done
Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, images that carry meaning have text alternatives, form fields have programmatically associated labels, and body text is checked for contrast against its background.
Known Gaps
This is a new storefront and it has not yet had a full third-party accessibility audit. We would rather say that than imply a level of assurance we have not paid for.
